Fig. 5. Disturbing effect of phytoncide on salivary biofilm. Salivary biofilm was formed with various concentration phytoncide for 72 h at 37℃. The biofilm in the 12-well plate was stained 1% crystal violet after washing with PBS. The released crystal violet solution (200 μl) was transferred into 96-well plate and measured optical density at 590 nm wavelength by microplate reader. *Statistically significant compared to 1 min control group (P<0.05). #Statistically significant compared to 10 min control group (P<0.05).
