Dear members of the Korean Academy of Preventive Dentistry and Oral Health,

Over the past few years, even in the midst of a global pandemic, we have achieved remarkable progress in research, published several papers in journals, and explored more diverse and in-depth topics.

Our organization was able to arrange regular gatherings for our members; unfortunately, we had to hold them virtually.

However, this year, our annual fall conference is expected to be held in person for the first time in three years. It is on October 29, 2022 (Saturday) at Seoul National University’s School of Dentistry and the theme is “Oral Health in the Era of the Great Digital Transformation.” We expect you to look forward and even join us, as we have invited Dr. Alice Horowitz as our special guest along with other esteemed local speakers and lecturers from the Japanese Society for Oral Health.

We also hope that many of you will come forward to discuss your research at our poster presentation.

Last but not least, we ask for your continued support and submissions for our journal.

안녕하십니까. 대한예방치과∙구강보건학회 회원여러분.

최근 몇 년간 우리 학회는 회원여러분과 코로나-19라는 전세계적인 팬데믹 상황 속에서도 많은 연구를 수행하고 그 결과를 학회지에 실어 왔으며, 좀 더 다양하고 심층적인 주제에 대해 다루고자 많은 노력을 하여 왔습니다.

또한 학술지 외에 학회 활동도 지속적으로 행하여 왔으나, 대면이 아닌 비대면으로 진행해야하는 아쉬움이 있었습니다.

이에 올해 우리 학회의 추계 종합학술대회는 3년만에 대면으로 진행되는 뜻깊은 학술대회가 예정되어 있습니다. 2022년 10월 29일(토요일) 서울대학교 치의학대학원에서 “디지털 대전환 시대의 구강보건”을 주제로 진행됩니다. 많은 국내 우수한 연자들의 발표와 일본구강위생학회 초청강연 및 Alice Horowitz 선생님의 특별초청강연도 예정되어있으니 많은 회원 여러분의 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

또한 포스터 발표도 진행되니 회원 여러분의 많은 연구성과를 발표해 주시기를 간곡히 부탁드립니다.

그리고, 지금까지와 같이 학회지에도 많은 관심 가져주시고 진행해오신 많은 연구 성과물들을 투고해주시기를 다시 한번 부탁드립니다.
